| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 本文從媒介學研究者弗里德里希．基德勒（Friedrich Kittler）與希比耶．克蕾默爾（Sybille Krämer）對於技術以及媒介存有論的探問指出，媒介學所要反省∕反對的是西方哲學脈絡下的理論知識對於技術的排除與忽視。媒介學因而並不是要為媒介建立理論，而是要分析理論、知識、以及文化之所以能被建立的技術。本文指出，在媒介學的觀點下，媒介就是技術──它們皆起於「在中間」，並打開「在中間的空間」，不只傳遞訊息，更造出技術物，是理論、知識與文化的預設。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Beginning with Friedrich Kittler and Sybille Krämer's analyses of technique and their reflections on the ontology of media, this research argues that Medienwissenschaft, which is often translated as "German media theories," is intended to reflect on and fight against the ignorance of technique by the theoretical knowledge in Western philosophy. The aim of Medienwissenschaft is not to develop theories for media but to analyze the techniques through which theories, knowledge systems, and cultures are constructed. This research also indicates that in Medienwissenschaft, medium is regarded as technique because they both, deriving from their "being-in-between," open up "in-between-spaces" for the transmission of messages and the production of artifacts as the preconditions for theories, knowledge systems, and cultures. | |
