題名 試論郭象不否定「道」作為物之存有根源—以強調郭象文本內部理路連結為線索之探析

摘要 郭象「自生」「獨化」為魏晉玄學中重要的觀念。它雖多被理解為郭象否定造物來源,然若細緻檢析郭象文本,可以發現學者也曾指出的郭象不否定「道」作為存有根源的觀點,值得重視並進一步探討。故本研究以著重郭象文本內部連結為線索,嘗試為此觀點之合理性提供進一步論證。本研究指出,郭象以「道」為萬物存有上的根源,「道」與「物」為兩個不同層次。非「物」的「道」,與「物」之間的關係非以認知上可理解的有為方式呈現。二者間的層次差異、非有為、非可理解,使得二者間在認知上具有不連續性。如此,萬物非以「物」做為根源,以及「道」對「物」無認知上可理解的直接影響,形成「物」彷彿沒有來源。此解釋觀點,提供另一個通解郭象「自生」「獨化」義理的參考角度,亦可做為瞭解莊子學及魏晉玄學之參考。
Guo Xiang's(郭象) "zisheng(自生) "and "duhua(獨化) "are important concepts in Wei-Jin Philosophy. Although it is often understood that he denied the existence of the source of "wu(物)", there are some different perspectives provided by other scholars. Moreover, if we meticulously analyze Guo Xiang's text, the viewpoint that "Tao(道)" as the source of "Wu" still deserves further discussion. Therefore, a further reasoning of this viewpoint based on analyses of Guo Xiang's Text is provided in this research. Guo Xiang took "Tao" as the metaphysical source of "Wu" and thought that "Tao" was different from "Wu. The relationship between "Tao" and "Wu" was not presented in a cognitively understandable and intentional way. These differences make the cognitive discontinuity between the two. In this way, "Wu" seems to have no source. This viewpoint provides another route for understanding "zisheng" and "duhua" and for understanding the history of Zhuangzi research and the Wei-Jin Philosophy.
