| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | With the widespread application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the workplace, AI labour monitoring systems have gradually become a part of enterprise management. Although this technology can improve efficiency, it also raises privacy and ethical concerns. This article explores the acceptance of workplace AI monitoring among undergraduate and graduate students. The subjects of the study were students in a general education course at a university in central Taiwan (152 first-year undergraduate students) and a graduate course (18 first-year master’s students). Data collection for this study was divided into two stages: classroom design and content presentation, and questionnaire survey and recovery. A total of 170 valid questionnaires were recovered. The results of the questionnaire show that there is a significant difference between the two groups of students in terms of their acceptance of ‘AI labor monitoring in the workplace’. The study found that college students generally expressed a positive acceptance attitude, believing that monitoring can help improve work efficiency; graduate students generally expressed that they could not accept it, and pointed out potential privacy violations and stress problems. This article analyses the causes of the differences from the perspectives of generation, education level and critical thinking development, and puts forward suggestions at the education and policy levels to promote the development of labour ethics in the application of technology. The results of this study not only reveal the differences in attitudes towards AI monitoring among students at different academic levels, but also reflect how the education system should adjust the content of the curriculum to enhance students’ understanding of workplace ethics and privacy protection in an era of rapid technological change. | |
