| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 為了在不斷變化的環境中達到永續生存,企業決策者必須在開發(exploitation)與探索(exploration)中取得平衡。本三年期研究計畫擬藉由神經科學中的功能性核磁共振成像(fMRI)來探討何種管理特質有助於在開發與探索兩項學習策略中達成雙元性(ambidexterity),對此,我們特別關注於彈性樂觀(flexible optimism)此項人格特質,並且提出此人格特質有助管理者在進行個人決策時,於探索與開發之間有效進行轉換的能力,通過此研究計畫,我們希冀能對增進企業決策制定的微觀基礎有所貢獻。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | To attain long-term viability in changing environment requires managers of business organizations to strike a balance between exploitation and exploration (Cohen et al., 2007; March, 1991). This three-year research proposal aims to investigate the managerial traits that drive the ambidexterity in the two learning strategies from a neuroscientic approach based on functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). In particular, we focus on flexible optimism and propose that this personal trait is likely to contribute to the ability of individual decision makers to effectively switch between exploitation and exploration. In so doing, our proposal aims to advance the understanding of micro foundation of decision making in business organizations. | |
