摘要 This study re-examines the pedagogical role of corpora in Korean translation education in the era of AI, focusing on classroom applications in Korean language majors in Taiwan. It traces the shift from corpus-based translation to AI-assisted translation and discusses how translation competence and instructional goals are being redefined in AI-driven contexts. The study argues that corpus literacy remains a core component of translation competence, particularly for evaluating AI-generated translations, diagnosing errors, and justifying translation choices. It then categorizes types of corpora used in translation education and highlights the pedagogical value of multilayered corpora that integrate AI outputs, learner translations, and revised versions. Drawing on three classroom cases—tourism corpora, Korean drama corpora, and learner translation corpora—the study demonstrates how corpus-based activities can complement AI tools and foster learners’ critical thinking and translation awareness.
