| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 隨著全球自由經濟貿易體系的形成和網路資訊之便利性，國與國之間的疆界已經越來越模糊，代之而起的是城市之興起。競爭的層級也從國家間，轉向城市間的競爭。現今全世界已有超過一半的人口生活在城市裡，而且人數仍持續成長中，因此城市已成為國家經濟發展的主體。台灣下一波之經濟發展必須與國際接軌，不能自外於城市快速興起之潮流。因此由無形之智慧資本看UNESCO所提名之創意城市，將可提供台灣城市發展之參考，強化台灣城市之全球競爭力。 本計畫為個人2013年「城市智慧資本模型建構與排名」計畫之延續，該計畫為模型建構與城市排名，雖然研究成果已在歐盟之創新年鑑發表，然而除了歐盟城市之資料較為完整外，必須由其他數個來源，包括中國之資料庫補充，對於資料之品質較無信心，也因為太多遺漏值，配對後只得到36個完整的城市資料，沒有再進行更深入的研究。近年來個人以UNESCO創意城市為對象探討宏觀層級的社會創新，發現該套公開資料非常適合研究城市智慧資本，因此重燃了對城市智慧資本研究的信心，提出此計畫。 本計畫將根據前期計畫建構的城市智慧資本四個面向，含人力、市場、流程、與更新資本，以個案研究與內容分析法解析14個在五大洲含先進與開發中國家已獲得UNESCO提名之創意城市。期望研究成果可供臺灣城市發展與永續之參考。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | The formation of free global economy and the convenience of internet have blurred the boundary of national borders. Instead, cities are the uprising competitive units, leading to the intensified city competition. So far, half of the world population lives in cities and the number is continuously increasing. As a result, cities have become the main focus of national economic development. Taiwan cannot ignore such an important role a city plays in the future. Therefore, Taiwan’s next wave of economic development needs to be tied to this global trend. Investigating UNESCO Creative Cities from the viewpoint of intangible intellectual capital will provide references for the development and global competitiveness of cities in Taiwan. This project extends my 2013 project “City Intellectual Capital (CIC) Model Building and Ranking.” Even though a CIC model has been built and the results published in the European Union Open Innovation Yearbook, this applicant did not have confidence in the data quality. In that project, I found that only EU cities have the data I needed, however the project was for global cities. As a result, I had to look for data from various sources, including database in China to match at most 36 cities because of large amount of missing values. The barrier of obtaining reliable data for more global cities interrupted my continuous study on CIC. Recently, I studied UNESCO Creative Cities from macro societal innovation perspective and found that this set of open data is ideal for CIC study, thus rekindle my interest in studying CIC adopting qualitative approach. Based on the four-dimensional CIC model, namely human, market, process, and renewal capital , this project will use case study and content analysis methods to study 14 UNESCO Creative Cities in both advanced and developing countries in the five continents. Hopefully, the research results may provide references for cities in Taiwan for future development and sustainability. | |
