| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 近年來全球工業物聯網的應用急速成長,但是對於中小企業而言,工業物聯網的採用與導入成本相對較高,因此許多企業會選擇採用平台即服務(Platform as a Service, PaaS)的模式來降低成本。在工業物聯網的PaaS平台服務中,研華是該產業中相對成功的廠商之一,該公司提出以Edge Intelligence WISE PaaS (本研究簡稱WISE-PaaS)為核心的物聯網軟、硬體解決方案,協助客戶串接產業鏈,與產業客戶共創產業生態圈,並帶動產業智能化。本計畫將以研華的WISE-PaaS平台為研究對象,探討組織在發展工業4.0時,接受此種平台與傳統資訊系統之間的區別,並找出平台的前期接受、持續使用以及後續商業共創價值的影響因素。本計畫第一年預計為質性研究,將透過文獻回顧以及訪談方式來分析企業在接受PaaS平台時,在三個導入階段所面臨的影響接受因素,三個階段包括:進入前期的接受、持續使用與後續的商業共創。預計邀請Wise-PaaS平台廠商進行深度訪談,將訪談內容彙整與編碼,歸納出各階段的關鍵影響因素,並透過訪談,建立平台進入、持續使用與共創價值的理論模式;第二年則著重於驗證第一年所建立的模型。首先,將透過文獻分析建立相關問卷,並發放問卷給WISE-PaaS合作的廠商進行資料蒐集與分析,以檢驗企業對於WISE-PaaS平台採用的各階段相關接受因素以及因素間的關聯性,並驗證三個接受模型的解釋力。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | In recent years, the applications of industrial internet of things (IoTs) have grown rapidly around the world. Yet, for small and medium size enterprises (SMEs), the adoption of IoTs technologies is relatively with high costs. Thus, many companies choose to adopt the Platform as a Service (PaaS) model to lower down their implementation costs. Among the PaaS platform services for industrial IoTs, Advantech is one of the relatively successful vendors in that industry. The company proposed edge intelligence WISE-PaaS (termed as WISE-PaaS in this proposal) as the core software and hardware infrastructure for the IoTs solutions and helps customers connect their industry supply chains. Moreover, the platform helps them create an industrial ecosystem with their business customers, and becomes more intelligent.This research will focus on Advantech's WISE-PaaS platform as the main studying subject, and explore the differences between adopting such cloud platform for Industry 4.0 environment and the typical information systems. Then, it will identify the key factors that influence the early adoption, continuous use of the platform, and commercial co-creation behaviors of platform users. The first year of this research will be a qualitative research, which will identify key factors influencing the adoption of WISE-PaaS platform in three stages including early adoption, continuous use of the platform, and commercial co-creation through literature review and interviews. More specifically, this research will invite managers of WISE-PaaS platform vendors to participate a series of in-depth interviews. The data will then be further analyzed and summarized into three theoretical models to explain business users’ adoption behaviors. The second year will focus on validating the model established in the first year. First, questionnaires will be generated through an intensive literature review, and the questionnaires will then be distributed and collected from those business users that involved in WISE-PaaS platform. Then, we will analyze the results of the survey to test significant factors that affect business users’ adoption behaviors in the three stages. Last, the correlations between the factors and explanatory abilities of three adoption models will be identified. | |
