Philology; Phonology; Paleography日期 2025-12 上傳時間 2026-07-21 摘要 聯綿詞「鞅掌」在先秦出現於《詩經》1次和《莊子》2次，本文限於研究《詩經》的用例。此詞有唐代故訓「眾多」，與清代馬瑞辰「事多……多事」、俞樾「繁多」之解，本文利用大型電子古籍資料庫，得出兩漢無用例，魏晉南北朝有12個用例，皆爲「多」義；唐五代17個用例，12個爲「多」義，以充份證明「多」義是正解。根據鞅字諧央聲，與根據馬、俞所舉聯綿詞諧襄、莽、勿、乙聲，又形成了秧穰、穰穰、鞅鬱、碨柍、泱漭、泱瀁、淴泱、鞅軋、軋沕等詞，從大型電子古籍資料庫檢得先秦至南北朝43個用例，皆以「多」爲基本定義，可以合成一個聯綿詞族。古注常常隨文解釋，由於未明它們是「多」義而注解錯誤，可予訂正。
The binome yāngzhǎng 鞅掌appears once in the Book of Songs and twice in the Zhuangzi during the pre-Qin period. This study focuses on its usage in the Book of Songs. The term was glossed as "numerous" in the Tang Dynasty, and later by Ma Ruichen 馬瑞辰 as "having many affairs" and by Yu Yue 俞樾 as "abundant" in the Qing Dynasty. Utilizing large electronic databases of ancient texts, we finds no instances of its use in the Han Dynasty, 12 instances in the Wei, Jin, and Southern and Northern Dynasties, all meaning "many", and 17 instances in the Tang and Five Dynasties, with 12 meaning "many", sufficiently proving that "many" is the correct definition. Based on the phonetic component央in鞅, as well as襄, 莽, 勿, and 乙 in the binomes cited by Ma and Yu, additional binomes such as yāngrang 秧穰, rángráng 穰穰, yāngyù 鞅鬱, wēiyāng 碨柍, yāngmǎng 泱漭, yāngyàng 泱瀁, hūyāng 淴泱, yāngyà 鞅軋, and yàmì 軋沕 have been formed. From large electronic databases of ancient texts, 43 instances of usage from the pre-Qin period to the Southern and Northern Dynasties have been identified, all of which are fundamentally defined by "many", and can be synthesized into a family of binomes.
