| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 近幾年兩位台灣的創作者因為作品被迻譯為外文而不約而同地在西班牙發光發熱，嶄新的主題、文本、譯者，隱約意味者「新漢學」發展的可期性。三毛的著作西譯在2019年已累計至第三部Diarios de ninguna parte，是繼2016年Diarios del Sáhara及2017的Diarios de las Canarias之後又一精彩譯作。拜譯者鍥而不捨且出版社執行長青睞，三毛譯作得以西班牙文出版，且西譯本較英譯早了三年問世，三毛作品外譯的曲折過程及譯本內容，是迄今三毛研究闕如的一塊。 每年安排一次海外活動，足跡踏遍亞洲以及歐洲、美洲國家，幾米在2019年受訪閱讀誌Openbook，報導的引言提到「台灣最具影響力的圖畫書作家幾米，藉其亮眼的國際知名度及豐富的海外經驗，為後起新秀提供學習的模範。」同時幾米的174幅作品正在馬德里的ABC美術館展出，由台灣駐西班牙代表處、文化部、法雅客(FNAC)、ABC美術館所共同推動與策畫的「看不見的存在(Lo esencial y lo invisible)」特展及法雅客的粉絲見面會，不僅讓繪本躍居閱讀的風潮，繪本翻譯與翻譯的繪本更是成為有待深入探究的新興現象。 此研究計畫將以描述翻譯學為框架，探討以下子議題： 1. 在翻譯系統中游移的華語文本 2. 繪本的普世價值與東方哲理 3. 新漢學研究軌跡的定調與傳承 4. 三毛與幾米的在地連結與創生 5. 翻譯規範與贊助人的影響力 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | In recent years, two Taiwanese creators have become famous in Spain as their works were translated into foreign languages. The new topics, contents and translators of their works create possibilities for the development of new sinology. San Mao is one of the two creators. Her Diaries, Anytime and Anywhere (Diarios de Ninguna Parte) was translated into Spanish. It is her third book published in Spanish, following The Stories of the Sahara (Diarios del Sáhara) in 2016 and Olive Tree in the Dream (Diarios de las Canarias ) in 2017. If not for the translator’s persistence and the publishing house CEO’s appreciation, San Mao’s books would never be available in Spanish. Moreover, Spanish edition was published three years earlier than English edition was. Although there is no lack of studies on San Mao and her works, the translated contents and the twists and turns in the process of publishing the translated editions are rarely discussed. Another creator is Jimmy Liao. By way of the once-a-year overseas tours, he has reached countries in Asia, Europe and America. In the interview article by Openbook in 2019, the introduction says “Jimmy Liao is the most influential Taiwanese picture book author. His remarkable reputation worldwide and rich overseas experiences make him a role model for emerging writers and illustrators.” In the meantime, 174 pieces of his original works are on exhibit at Museo ABC in Madrid. The exhibition, titled “The essential and the invisible (Lo esencial y lo invisible),” is co-organized by Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Spain, Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture, Fayaque (FNAC) and Museo ABC. In addition, a book signing and talk was held at Fayaque. These events make picture books not only a trend in reading but also a rising subject for researchers to dig into. Under the framework of the descriptive translation study, this study discusses the followings: 1. Chinese books moving among different positions of a translation system; 2. Universal values and oriental philosophy in picture books; 3. The positioning and continuity of new sinology; 4. Community connection and placemaking in San Mao’s and Jimmy Liao’s works; 5. Translation norms and the influence of patronage. | |
