| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | "一九八七年，政府基於人道精神，開放兩岸探親及出版的交流，兩岸關係由此邁入了新的階段。十多年來，兩岸的交流，由初始的奔喪、探親，繼而經貿，繼而文化，全面展開。透過文化的交流，兩岸人民，無論菁英或大眾，皆可達致彼此的相互了解。而文化交流中的學術交流，乃是最重要的一支。 學術交流，最大部分是學術座談會。方式有五種，另外還有學者交換講學或研究以及學校合作，包括學術合作研究、出版合作、教授交換、圖書資料交換、定期舉辦研討會及辯論賽、簽訂學術交流協議、師生互訪、培訓研究生、交換資訊、專案研究、合作研發產品及互聘教授講學等等。 交流，雖然成績不錯，但也有機項無法克服的難題，諸如：意識形態的差異、政治立場的差異、行政措施的問題、交流品質的問題、資訊不足的問題等等，都有待改進。" | - |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | "Relations across the Taiwan Strait have entered a new era after the ROC government lifted in 1987 the ban on people`s visit to the mainland. In addition to mutual visits, economic and cultural exchanges have also been developed. Through cultural exchanges, a better mutual understanding has been achieved between the people of the two sides. Of all the cultural exchanges, academic exchanges are the most important. In addition to the convention of symposiums, academic exchanges have also been undertaken both through the exchange of visiting scholars as well as cooperation in undertaking research projects, publishing research findings, exchanging information, and developing new products. Obstacles to academic exchanges across the strait include ideological and political discrepancies between the two sides, difference in administrative measures, and insufficiency in information about the mainland.
