| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 本研究從「時間取代」(time displacement)的角度，比較1991年與2001年台北市高中生使用傳統大眾媒介的時間，並探討網路的使用對傳統大眾介使用時間的影響。研究結果發現，網路對傳統大眾媒介具有取代效果。大約有三成的受訪學生在使用電腦網路後，使用報紙、電視新聞、廣播、廣播新聞及雜誌的時間減少。有近四成的受訪學生表示，使用電腦網路後，收看電視的時間減少。此外，本研究也發現，網路除了對傳統大眾媒介具有時間取代效果外，也可能在滿足閱聽人的資訊、新聞、娛樂、打發時間等四種需求上，取代傳統大眾媒介。這樣的發現，更進一步顯示網路對傳統大眾媒介具有時間取代效果。 "This study examines the impact of Internet use on time allocated to traditional media. The results of the study confirm the time displacement hypothesis that time spent in television viewing, newspaper reading, radio listening and magazine use is affected by Internet use. Television viewing experienced the most time displacement as a result of Internet use. Newspaper reading, radio listening and magazine use also suffered substantial displacement. | - |
