| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 美國在未獲聯合國的同意下片面出兵伊拉克，卻引起許多國家不同的意見，而美軍這次之所以能速戰速決達成既定的目標，其中「新聞」扮演關鍵的角色，有關美軍的各種新聞藉著國際傳播的力量快速傳布世界的每一個角落，相對的，伊拉克的聲音顯然相當微弱。筆者藉由本文，選取國內三家主要報紙，研究這次美國對伊拉克戰爭時，報紙處理國際新聞的情形，從中探索扮演為閱聽大眾把關的媒體在國際新聞流通的過程中到底是如何面對及處理國際新聞。\r\n\r\n 本研究採用內容分析法發現，「本報記者」與「綜合外電報導」是報紙最常用的新聞來源，且報紙新聞主角均以「美國」為主，而報紙所呈現的報導明顯偏向「支持戰爭」，其中，「綜合外電報導」是重要原因；再者，「非官方新聞」則是三家報紙主要的新聞來源，此外，各報均大篇幅報導，甚至派遣記者前往採訪，顯示類似戰爭這種衝突性的國際新聞的確是媒體報導的焦點，而國內媒體在面對這種國際重大新聞時明顯有大量報導美國方面新聞的偏頗現象。\r\n\r\n 不過，透過深度訪談發現，各家報紙對處理國際新聞的態度顯然不一致，有的媒體希望能實地派遣記者前往實地採訪，做第一手的觀察與報導，但也有媒體受限於經費而無法派遣記者做實地採訪，在這種情況下，國際新聞的取得就顯得非常重要，這也是國際通訊社歷久不衰的主要原因之一，只是，在資訊多元化以及網路快速發展的今天，國際新聞的取得不再受限於國際通訊社，遠在美國或英國的報紙或雜誌或者電視的報導均能透過網路在第一時間取得，供報紙在編輯國際新聞時的參考使用。\r\n\r\n 另一方面，報紙所呈現的國際新聞之所以有偏頗的情形，透過訪談發現，其實不僅是報紙的立場問題，報社所接收到的國際新聞本來就呈現偏頗的情形，報導美國的新聞較多，而報導伊拉克的新聞較少，且國際通訊社本身在報導國際新聞時就有偏差，例如美軍有安排隨軍採訪，因而容易接近採訪報導，但伊拉克就沒有。\r\n\r\n 除此之外，報紙有關國際新聞的報導經常以綜合外電報導的方式來呈現，各家媒體均認為這是未來的趨勢，主要原因是綜合外電報導可以提供讀者更完整的新聞，而在報紙所採用的各種國際新聞之中，本國的中央社所提供的國際新聞多半只供報紙參考而很少被採用，也反映報紙仍仰賴國際媒體提供國際新聞的現象。 | zh_TW |
