題名 台灣地區教育、職業地位取得之性別差異與變遷--女性主義觀點

摘要 本項次級研究(secondary study)係以台灣地區社會變遷基本調查資料第三期第二次的資料進行分析，旨在探討教育與職業地位取得之性別差異與變遷，透過女性主義觀點的檢視，體現近代台灣地區社會變遷的趨勢。
     本研究所使用的工具計有：台灣地區社會變遷基本調查第三期第二次問卷與Trieman的「國際職業聲望量表」，共計擇用有效樣本2198人進行分析，並利用迴歸分析、多變量共變數分析(MANCOVA)等統計分法，進行模式之檢證。主要發現如后：
     一、 兩性的教育取得具有性別差異，惟其差距日趨降低；而教育總年數因隨時間變遷的漸次提增，為兩性在教育取得的共同趨勢。在同一人口年輪教育取得的性別差異比較中，男性較女性具有教育取得的優勢，尤其在1967年以前出生的人口群中更為顯著。然而在教育取得的變遷中，教育取得的愈佳化，是一無性別差異的共同趨勢，亦即兩性的教育取得均日趨提昇。
     二、 兩性的職業地位取得具有性別差異，尤其在職業收入上更甚顯著。在同一人口年輪職業地位取得的性別差異比較中，男性較女性具有職業地位取得的優勢。尤其兩性職業收入的差異，在1967年以前出生的人口群中更是明顯。而職業聲望的性別差距，在1967年以後出生的女性人口群中，即便其職業收入與男性的差異已大幅減低，但因其從事的職業結構，反使其職業聲望居處劣勢。惟就女性職業地位取得的變遷而論，在時間的嬗變中，女性的職業聲望與收入均已大幅的提昇。
     三、教育取得對職業地位取得的影響，具有兩性的性別差異。在同一人口年輪的性別差異比較裡，男性的教育取得對其職業地位取得的影響甚於女性，故而在女性教育程度亦漸趨提昇之際，教育取得對女性職業地位取得的助益，相對於男性是較低的，故而教育水準的提昇，將會是女性社會地位提升的必須，但其未必能成為社會地位晉升的最佳途徑。惟女性的教育取得，在社會變遷的氛圍裡，對其職業聲望的助益是較有利的，因教育的取得將有助於其在主流職業結構中從事較專業、職業聲望較高的工作。

     二、 兩性的職業地位取得具有性別差異，尤其在職業收入上更甚顯著。在同一人口年輪職業地位取得的性別差異比較中，男性較女性具有職業地位取得的優勢。尤其兩性職業收入的差異，在1967年以前出生的人口群中更是明顯。而職業聲望的性別差距，在1967年以後出生的女性人口群中，即便其職業收入與男性的差異已大幅減低，但因其從事的職業結構，反使其職業聲望居處劣勢。惟就女性職業地位取得的變遷而論，在時間的嬗變中，女性的職業聲望與收入均已大幅的提昇。
     三、教育取得對職業地位取得的影響，具有兩性的性別差異。在同一人口年輪的性別差異比較裡，男性的教育取得對其職業地位取得的影響甚於女性，故而在女性教育程度亦漸趨提昇之際，教育取得對女性職業地位取得的助益，相對於男性是較低的，故而教育水準的提昇，將會是女性社會地位提升的必須，但其未必能成為社會地位晉升的最佳途徑。惟女性的教育取得，在社會變遷的氛圍裡，對其職業聲望的助益是較有利的，因教育的取得將有助於其在主流職業結構中從事較專業、職業聲望較高的工作。		zh_TW
