摘要 司徒達賢提出「管理工作的核心本質是整合」之觀念,藉由「管理矩陣」此理論架構綜合各家管理觀念,分析實務管理行為,提供貫通理論與實務之間的橋樑。在此研究架構下,本研究選擇以高陽所著《胡雪巖》小說系列為研究文本,以「整合」為核心觀點、「管理矩陣」為分析架構,探討文本中的管理與整合行為,目的在深入探討整合觀點的管理行為外,也為求能在具體可見的管理行為之上,能加入更多形成行為與決策的人性與情感等無形因素的探索。
本研究從兩種角度進行整合觀點分析,首先挑選文本中具有較豐富之整合行為、管理意涵,以及分析深度的三個關鍵事件「漕米海運」、「爭奪洋槍」與「左李相爭」,深入剖析每一個角色的六大管理元素、其所位處之管理階層、以及其整合行為之深層涵意。另一角度則由管理議題出發,本研究從原有文本以及上述關鍵事件的分析中,歸納出近來受社會關注且具有分析價值的管理議題-「政商關係」作為文本研究之延伸。
透過上述分析,本研究將分別由三個關鍵事件分析與政商關係管理議題分析中,透過歸納與概念化的分析發展管理命題,將本研究於分析過程中之各項特定性(specific)發現,轉化為通用性(general)的立論。期望透過本研究,能提供「整合觀點」分析架構的具體實例,使本研究結果更具實務上的應用價值,同時帶給胡雪巖研究全新的觀點。
