| Summary | 本研究的主要目的為分析國內媒體報導如何建構與呈現愛滋病相關議題，分析對象為民國84年12月至85年3月間，國內十二家報紙的愛滋病新聞內容與呈現方式。分析資料顯示：國內的愛滋病新聞報導內容以在醫藥保健版面為主；報導議題的分佈則以宣導活動、個案報導與防治工作為主；消息來源的選擇上仰賴醫護人員、專家學者以及政府單位與官員；報導品質的缺點以仰賴單向消息來或消息來源不明的情形居多，語言模糊艱澀、報導作斷章取義的歸因以及聳動具歧視意味等次之。 This study aims to investigate how AIDS and the related issues are presented in the news. A content analysis of the AIDS coverage in 12 newspapers from November 1, 1995 to March 31, 1996 was conducted. Based on the content analysis results, news coverage of AIDS was mostly found in the medicine page. The main issues of focus were campaign activities, personal events and AIDS prevention work. News sources of the stories centered around medical experts, scholars and government officials. Major problems found in the coverage included unbalanced reliance on and no clear indication of the news sources, followed by vague use of medical languages, misattribution and discrimination against certain groups. |
