| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 新加坡自獨立後，和馬來西亞一直維持脣齒相依的關係，但卻在關乎兩國國家立場和利益的雙邊課題上爭論不休，總是在同一課題談判多年卻無法達成協議，兩國都堅持自己的國家原則。本研究以興建馬新大橋事件為例，嘗試以近三年的當地中文報《星洲日報》和《聯合早報》有關此雙邊課題的新聞為樣本，用內容分析法檢視兩報如何報導及框架同一雙邊課題。研究結果發現兩份報章都扮演傳達國家政策、立場和原則的角色，達到引導民意，鞏固政府立場的目的。同時，報章也抱著和國家立場相同的價值觀，來維護國家利益。 | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Singapore and Malaysia’s relationship appears to be as close as lips and teeth even after Singapore independent. However, the dispute regarding bilateral position and benefit between both countries was debated endlessly. The dispute has yet to be concluded after several negotiations were conducted through out these years. This is because both countries are insisting on their own principals. This research is focus into the topic of ‘The construction of Singapore-Malaysia viaduct’ and discuss by using content analyse model on how the local chinese newspaper like Sin-Chew Jit Poh, and Lian He Zhao Bao report about this bilateral topic for the past three years. Finding from the research is that both papers’ reports are based on the position and principal of their own country to let the people feel that both governments are incompetent. Meanwhile, both papers are having the same value to protect the benefit of their on country. | en_US |
