題名 政治人物新聞軟性化研究--以馬英九的報導為例

摘要 政治性傳播的範疇中,「政治人物」比起「政治事務」更能滿足大眾流行文化的需求,因而更容易被大眾所看見、聽見,現代的政治已走向個人化;另一方面,隨著媒體的蓬勃發展,在營利壓力之下,為獲得更多收視率、閱報率,媒體傾向以娛樂角度來提供訊息,新聞內容逐漸走向「軟性化」。本研究以單一政治人物為例,透過報紙的內容分析探究媒體如何呈現政治人物的軟性面向。研究發現,對政治人物愈友善的報紙愈願意報導政治人物的軟性內容,因為軟性內容本質上就傾向包含較多正面資訊。同時,研究發現媒體在呈現政治人物的軟性面向上,偏好呈現其人格特質,展現了政治明星與藝人的根本差異:人們重視藝人的外表打扮,但對於政治人物,仍不可避免地在乎他們的人格特質。
In the field of political communication, politicians is more attractive to the masses than political affairs or political events and more capable to occupy the center of the stage. Therefore, politics in present days has been trending to personalization. On the other hand, as the media keep developing, under the profit press, media have to provide soft news and entertaining contents to appeal more readers and audience. The contents of news have been softened. This research used content analysis to view how media presents politicians’ soft domain. It was found that the more friendly media to a politician, the more media be willing to report his/her soft domain. It was also found that media tend to present politicians’ personalities. It means that even politicians are getting more and more like entertainers, there is still a gap between them: people like to know about entertainers’ look and dressing while they inevitably care about politicians’ personality.
