摘要 在顧客需求多樣、產品生命週期縮短之現今環境下,新產品開發已成為企業競爭 力的重要來源之一。企業應於開發新產品時做好適切管理,在有限時間內開發設計出 兼具成本、功能與品質競爭力的新產品,方能在激烈商戰中保有一席之地。伴隨新產 品開發管理之日益重要,也使得我國企業應如何管理開發流程及應重視之管理指標為 何等問題不容忽視;此對面臨產業結構從傳統的製造導向轉為以強調研發、技術為導 向之轉型期的我國而言,更趨重要,攸關國家未來長期發展。但至目前為止,對我國 企業的新產品開發管理進行整合且具體地探討之研究並不多,將其進一步結合考量影 響新產品開發管理之可能因素者更是缺乏。然而隨著新產品開發之日趨重要,實有必 要對此多加重視。 本計畫之目的即以我國企業為對象,採取個案研究法,深入探討新產品開發的具 體管理流程與重要指標,並對不同企業進行比較,探索影響新產品開發管理的可能因 素。除了蒐集彙整相關文獻與資料外,並對個案公司相關人員進行實地訪談及發放問 卷。同時透過文獻彙整、實地訪談、小規模問卷調查及深入分析探討,確實掌握我國 企業新產品開發管理之機制與問題,並提出結論與建議,俾補充相關理論探討及助國 內產業界有效管理與提昇競爭力。
In current circumstances that customers’ needs are diversifying and product life cycle is shortening, developing new products has become one of the important sources of business competitiveness. Companies should adequately manage new product development. Because only developing new products those have cost, function, and quality competitiveness in limited time, the companies can survive in the intense battle. As managing new product development becomes more important, the questions how our domestic enterprises manage development processes and what are the key management indicators should not be neglected. For our country that industrial structure is changing from traditional manufacturing- driven to emphasizing R&D and technology, managing new product development becomes more important, and is relevant to the future long-term development of our country. But up to now, the researches which have concretely investigated the new product development management of our domestic enterprises are very few. The researches which have further considered the possible factors that affect new product development management are scarcer. However, as new product development becomes more important, it is necessary to pay more attentions to those issues. The purpose of this research project is to explore the concrete management process and key indicators in new product development. And the possible factors that affect new product development management system will also be investigated. The case study method with our domestic enterprises as objects of investigation will be adopted. Besides all the related papers will be surveyed, field interviews and questionnaire investigation with related personnel of the case companies will also be implemented. By the ways of literature surveys, field interviews, small-scale questionnaire investigation, and deep analyses, the new product development management mechanism and related problems of our domestic companies will be comprehended. And the conclusions and suggestions will also be proposed. The research results will be helpful for complementing the related theoretical exploration and helping our domestic enterprises to improve management and promote their competitiveness.
