| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 本研究目的在於以作為文化控制之一環的出版法規為研究對象，探究日本殖民時代，台灣在日本帝國內的地位。文化作為一個社會精神與主體性的展現方式，同時，亦作為社會乃至行動者表現自我的象徵符碼，而經常成為支配者所要掌握、再製造的對象。透過對文化的控制，支配者也控制了被支配者用來思考的體系與工具。是以，透過支配者對文化的統治方式或限制，應能進一步理解殖民者的統治體制。換言之，當日本帝國宣稱對台灣採取「內地延長主義」乃至「皇民化政策」的同時，其是否真的把台灣視作日本帝國的一部分、或是有限制地將台灣納入帝國體制中？而這限制又是如何去表現的？本研究試圖透過日本殖民政府對台灣的文化控制，來釐清這一部分。而文化所指涉的範疇相當廣泛，是以本研究不得不在研究對象上作一些限定。由於本研究是以文化控制作為探究殖民地支配的一個表徵，或謂理解的管道，因此，本研究選擇限制在明文公布的文化相關律令，再將研究對象明確限定為符碼表徵的文字出版品的相關法規，以期能更確切地掌握研究對象，從而彰顯本研究所期能達到的研究目的。 | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | This Research plans to explore how Taiwan was defined in the Japan Empire during the Japanese Colonization by studying the publication laws. Culture, being the representation of social spirit and the symbolic system through which the society and the agent express themselves, is always the target the sovereign holds in great account. While the sovereign controls and re-produces the culture, the sovereign controls the tools of thinking. Thus, to understand how the Japanese governor controlled the culture would help us to understand the ruling system during the Japan Colonization. In other words, when the Japan Empire claimed that Taiwan is a part of the empire and the Taiwanese is the citizen of Japan, did she really follow what she claimed? And how could we prove it? Studying her laws about culture control may help us to clear up this issue. However, the cultural field is very wide. Thus, we have to narrow down the object of study. First, this research selects the laws about the culture as the object, because that they were declared and had to be obeyed. Then, we narrow the object down to the Publication Laws which control the symbolic system. By narrowing down the object, we could handle the theme and access the purpose of this research much more surely. | en_US |
