| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 向來在討論日治時期皇民化運動時，除了強調涵養國民精神、國民性外，通常都會針對皇民化運動的內容，加以分析。例如宗教與社會風俗的改革、國語運動、改姓名、志願兵制度、公學校、國民學校的科別與教科書。但是，我們卻很少看到從警察政治的觀點，來重新反思潛藏於皇民化運動裡的權力作用。鷲巢敦哉以他十五年擔任警察公職、十年親自編纂《沿革誌》的經歷為基礎所完成的《台湾保甲皇民化読本》，不僅完整保留並能夠相當程度反應當時官方推行皇民化運動的決策乃至實踐過程，更因此留下難得的考古線索，可以用來勾勒出警察政治與皇民化運動彼此間的權力系譜關係。 | en_US |
