摘要 本研究的目標是了解台灣數理教學與學習文化藝品、信念、知識與策略的時代發展狀況,基於此了解得以建立新的藝品以促進數理學習;隨著台灣持續參與PISA和TIMSS,我們可以進一步追蹤影響台灣學生數理成就與學習發展狀況可能的文化因素。本研究主要包括四大項研究(教師脈絡、學生脈絡、師生調查、實驗研究)並分四年進行;四年中也將全程追蹤台灣學生在PISA與TIMSS成就與背景狀況的發展,進行資料庫的二次分析研究。
The aim of the present study is to understand the development of cultural artifacts, beliefs, knowledge, strategies for teaching and learning mathematics/science in Taiwanese schools over time, based on which new artifacts for facilitating student learning mathematics/science is aimed to be created for the future. Along with Taiwan’s participation in the PISA and TIMSS, we are likely to trace the reasons of the culture for the development of student achievements in Taiwan over time. Four sets of studies (teacher context, student context, teacher/student survey, and experiment studies) are scheduled each for one year. Secondary analysis studies mainly based on the PISA and TIMSS databases are conducted to trace the development of student achievements and backgrounds in Taiwan along the whole process of the present study.
