| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | This study examines the impact of host country characteristics, industry characteristics, and industry experience on U.S. foreign direct investment. The hypotheses are derived mainly from the eclectic theory of international production and the theory of internalization. The hypothesized model is tested for developed countries as a group and less developed countries as another group. The results suggest that the impact of some characteristics is different for investments in these two groups. | en_US |
