SummaryFuzzy data models were proposed to handle uncertain data. Based on a set of fuzzy functional dependencies, the fuzzy values in a fuzzy relation may be refined into clearer ones. In this paper, we develop efficient algorithms for the refinement process. A dependency graph is defined for a set of fuzzy functional dependencies. By this graph, an efficient refinement sequence can be determined. These algorithms are proved correct and efficient.
