題名 李登輝外交理念的思維架構與實踐----1995年訪美行個案研究

摘要 李登輝總統主政（1988－2000）的十二年間，是台灣社會變化最劇的時期，無論是經濟發展、社會建設、民主憲政或外交關係，都展現迥異於前的風貌，奠定台灣成為現代化國家規模的基礎。\n 特別是在外交方面，台灣擺脫堅持多年的「漢賊不兩立」政策，以務實外交突破國際現實的限制，打開國際生存的空間，不僅在國際關係的運作上創造出另一種「台灣經驗」，也為台灣本身的外交政策釐訂譜寫了可資操作的模式。台灣外交的突破與發展，固然有許多國內外環境與主客觀因素的交互影響，但是李登輝總統個人的思維理念，絕對扮演了舉足輕重的角色。\n 本論文從決策者的角色切入，以李登輝的個人成長經驗、教育背景與宗教信仰為基礎，探索李登輝的個人特質與理念，作為理解他施政風格的出發點。繼而，以對他思想影響最為深遠的四位哲人：康德、卡萊爾、西田幾多郎與新渡戶稻造的思想，建構起李登輝的思維體系，作為探討他政策理念的架構。然後，再從國家利益的界定、外交目標的擬具、外交工具的擇定與外交效益的評估等四方面，深入剖析李登輝的外交政策思想。最後，以1995年締造台灣外交新巔峰的訪問康乃爾之行，來印證李登輝外交政策背後的理念基礎與邏輯架構。

dc.description.abstract (摘要) 李登輝總統主政（1988－2000）的十二年間，是台灣社會變化最劇的時期，無論是經濟發展、社會建設、民主憲政或外交關係，都展現迥異於前的風貌，奠定台灣成為現代化國家規模的基礎。\n 特別是在外交方面，台灣擺脫堅持多年的「漢賊不兩立」政策，以務實外交突破國際現實的限制，打開國際生存的空間，不僅在國際關係的運作上創造出另一種「台灣經驗」，也為台灣本身的外交政策釐訂譜寫了可資操作的模式。台灣外交的突破與發展，固然有許多國內外環境與主客觀因素的交互影響，但是李登輝總統個人的思維理念，絕對扮演了舉足輕重的角色。\n 本論文從決策者的角色切入，以李登輝的個人成長經驗、教育背景與宗教信仰為基礎，探索李登輝的個人特質與理念，作為理解他施政風格的出發點。繼而，以對他思想影響最為深遠的四位哲人：康德、卡萊爾、西田幾多郎與新渡戶稻造的思想，建構起李登輝的思維體系，作為探討他政策理念的架構。然後，再從國家利益的界定、外交目標的擬具、外交工具的擇定與外交效益的評估等四方面，深入剖析李登輝的外交政策思想。最後，以1995年締造台灣外交新巔峰的訪問康乃爾之行，來印證李登輝外交政策背後的理念基礎與邏輯架構。zh_TW
