摘要 在開放式系統的環境下來發展連線交易處理應用系統是本研究的重點。未來資訊科技已經朝開放式分散處理的方向在走。了解系統之間的標準界面才能達到系統的可攜性、互通性及一致性三大目標。我們深入的研究符合X/Open標準的交易監控系統如何和其資料庫管理系統利用XA界面來溝通。並且在一個滿足X/Open的開放式連線交易系統的環境裡來發展出二套集中式雛型應用系統:存貨管理系統及銀行資訊系統。根據這二個集中式雛型系統。可以描繪出未來發展一個開放式分散處理連線交易系統的步驟。當應用系統運作時,利用主從模式的架構可以分析主程式和從程式之間的資料的流程。我們同時也找出開放式系統對於未來資訊科的影響及相關的最佳商業策略。
This research is to develop two on-line transaction processing application systems in an open system environment. The information technology is moving toward an open distributed processing world. In order to achieve system portability, interconnectivity, and integrity, all the associated systems must follow open standards. We study the X/Open`s XA interfaces and analyze the relationship between transaction manager and resource manager. In an open OLTP environment, two centralized OLTP prototype systems are developed: inventory and banking. Based on these two prototyping systems, the future open distributed OLTP system framework can be shown. The information dataflow between client and server were defined and implemented. We also find out the best open system strategy that adapt to the impact of the future information technology.
