dc.description.abstract (摘要) | An essay on the relationship between human beings and the cityscape they inhabit as represented in "The Secret Agent," by Joseph Conrad is presented. It analyzes the lifestyle of the flâneur and the flâneuse, based on the framework of the study "The Arcades Project," by the late philosopher Walter Benjamin of anti-linear and anti-bourgeois temporality of dialectic at a standstill, and explores the possibility of resistance in the text. | - |
