dc.description.abstract (摘要) | In recent years, public attention to environmental protection has grown to an unprecedented level. Many international textile brands have switched to purchasing textile materials that comply with environmental standards. Brand companies in EU, US, Japan, and many other advanced nations will release their restricted substance lists (RSLs) on a regular basis to indicate the substances they restrict using and the content of substances of very high concern (SVHC). However, with the rapid growth of the list of restricted substances and SVHC, the requirement for constant updating and confirming RSLs with buyers has become a serious burden on Taiwan’s textile industry. This paper introduces a successful case of adoption of Green Textile Cloud Services (GTCS) in Taiwan. This company uses GTCS to enhance its efficiency in managing RSLs of different customers and establish effective green supply chain purchasing and outsourcing policies. | |
