| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Recent changes in the political atmosphere between Taiwan and Mainland China has led to the lifting of the long-time ban on recruiting Chinese students to study in Taiwan. In September of 2011, more than 900 Chinese students were admitted as degree-seekers to study in Taiwan universities. While, the number of short-term exchange programs numbered by the thousands. In light of the current changes from internationalization to cross-straitization; the phenomenal changes in policies that deals with Taiwan and Mainland China, this presentation shall seeks to understand the various push - pull factors and implications with regards to the Chinese students studying in Taiwan. | |
