題名 民主社會的重建：馬克弗森(C.B. Macpherson)政治理論之研究 作者 許國賢 貢獻者 郭博文<br>江金太

Macpherson, 1911-1987)的政治理論。論文共分七章，約十六萬字，各章之重點如下。 第一章"導論"：闡明馬克弗森政治理論之主要關注在於從人做為一個自身能力之發展者及實踐者的立場，去解析當前西方政治秩序裡的民主、自由及平等的實質，近試圖使政治理論重新回歸到人的可能性的開發的問題上。 第二章"佔有式個人主義與政治理論":分析做為政治思想史家的馬克弗森如何歸結出西方政治現代性的主要內容－－佔有式個人主義。 第三章"民主動性的展開及限制":討論馬克弗森對自由主義民主思潮的模式分析，以及民主想像之再展開的必要性。 第四章"經濟的政治(一):財產"及第五章"經濟的政治(二):經濟民主、經濟正義與市場":討論馬克弗森的政治經濟學，亦即他對資本主義市場經濟之政治作用的總體評估。 第六章"民主社會的格局":分析馬克弗森參與式民主的主張， 並探討其所蘊涵的自由及平等理念。 第七章"結論":對馬克弗森政治理論的貢獻及限制做總結，並評估其政治理論能否做為新的、更人道的政治現代性的憑藉。
