摘要 戰後1960 年代起,基於國家政策與市場經濟等考量,饒富鄉土草根情味, 發揮酬神祭儀功能,深具娛樂觀賞價值的臺灣歌仔戲,紛紛受邀前往東南亞等地 公演。部分深受歡迎的臺灣歌仔戲團,甚至引發新加坡唱片商的關注,邀請劇團 在地灌錄唱片發售。這批由「義發」、「東南亞」、「凱旋」、「羅盤」與「星洲鳳凰」 等新加坡唱片公司所錄製的「柏華閩劇團」、「新台光閩劇團」、「牡丹桂閩劇團」 唱片,記錄了當時臺灣歌仔戲團在新加坡灌錄唱片的成員名單、演唱劇目、演員 唱腔與伴奏配樂等重要信息,也是當時臺灣歌仔戲與新加坡交流的歷史銘刻。 而正基於星馬等地歌仔戲迷觀眾的廣大市場,因此如「金星唱片」、「五虎唱 片」與「新黎明唱片」等臺灣唱片公司,也特別灌錄了由「中華歌劇團」在海外 公演,或由小鳳仙與吳梅芳搭檔,以及小鳳仙與羅富美擔綱主唱,或由「台視歌 劇團」眾電視歌仔戲明星演唱的「外銷版」或「海外版」唱片,在新加坡與馬來 西亞等地發行販賣,不僅擴大了臺灣歌仔戲在當地的知名度、影響力及流播層 面,也為臺灣歌仔戲的海外傳播,留下了彌足珍貴的歷史見證。 是以這些在「特定時空場域」所灌錄或發行的歌仔戲唱片,儼然是當時臺灣 歌仔戲與新加坡交流的珍貴信史,尤其因為這些唱片並不在臺灣發行販售,更凸 顯此「星國留聲」唱片的重要性。所以本計畫擬以臺灣歌仔戲在「新加坡」所灌 錄出品的唱片,以及「臺灣海外版」的歌仔戲唱片為線索,結合唱片蒐集、史料 耙梳、文獻考證、田野採訪、口述歷史等研究策略,全面考察建構臺灣歌仔戲與 新加坡交流的演出銘刻,以填補臺灣歌仔戲海外傳播的歷史縫隙。
From 1960’s , based on the considerations of national policy and market economy, Taiwanese Opera, which is full of local spirits, the function of thanksgiving and is valuable for entertainment, was invited to make overseas performances at Southeast Asia. Some popular Taiwanese opera groups even got the attentions by Singapore record companies and were invited to make and sell albums at Singapore. This albums recorded by Singapore record companies such as “Yi Fa”, “Southeast Asia”, ” Kai Syuan”, “Luo Pan”, “Sin Chew Phoenix”, named like “Bai Hua Fujian Troupe”, “Sin Tai Guang Fujian Troupe” and “Mu Dan Guei Fujian Troupe” which saved the information such as group members, repertoires, music for voices and background music, etc. It’s also an interactive and culture exchanging history between Taiwanese Opera and Singapore. Taiwanese Opera overseas market was popular, and therefore affected Taiwan record companies such as “Golden Star”, “Five Tigers”, ”SLM” to recorded albums which were contained overseas performances made by “Jhong Hua Opera Troupe”, or recorded and sold particular albums just for overseas market and fans which were made by “TTV Opera Troupe”. It had shown the importance because the albums only were sold overseas. This not only expanded the level of Taiwanese opera visibility, influence and streaming, also had left a valuable historical testimony. Through this project, I plan to collect those albums, investigate historical data, do country field investigation and use oral history to establish a comprehensive understanding on this unique type of Taiwanese opera.
