摘要 Over the past few years, a considerable number of studies have been devoted to the core technologies of Smart Home system, which is usually constructed by integrating various sensors, actuators, and software. Meanwhile, the concept of Internet of Things (IoT) becomes popular so that the concept of Web of Things (WoT) also emerges out of the application layer. In a WoT network, all things can be accessed and operated via HTTP so that the development of smart home applications is simplified. However, as there has been a little study of a common approach for describing the capabilities of a constrained WoT, what seems to be lacking is an effective solution for the Findability issues of constrained WoT. In this paper, we propose a solution for dealing the WoT Findability issues by combining the Web Things Model (WTM) and Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP). We hope that this research outcome is able to make the applications constrained WoT in Smart Home easier to develop and thus streamlines the research of WoT. © 2017 IEEE.
