摘要 B Lab, a non-profit organization that serves a global movement of people using business as a force for good, provides companies that meet societal, environmental, governance and transparency requirements with a certification called « B Corp ». B Lab created a new kind of Corporations: the B Corporations, that are very different in many aspects from traditional corporations. But what makes these B Corporations so unique? This is the question this paper attempts to answer, through the study of one exemplary Taiwanese B Corp, DOMI Earth.

By meeting with the founders and employees, the company appeared to be different in many ways. This study reveals that DOMI is unique compared to traditional corporations because of its corporate culture, its motivations, its organization, its employees and its evolution. Moreover, DOMI is also unique compared to traditional Taiwanese companies because of its international perspective and its work environment. Finally, DOMI is different from other energy-saving companies because of the social activities they organise. In the end, these points are generalised to all B Corporations to better understand the uniqueness of B Corps.
