| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 本文旨在勾勒近三十年台灣傳播學術期刊反映出的輪廓與歷史變貌。以後設知識取向對《新聞學研究》此指標性期刊進行分析，以內容分析法觀察1987 年至2017年間共96 期560 篇學術論文，變項包括作者、機構、年份、頁數、引文數、領域、方法、媒體及地區。初步發現，新聞、閱聽人、批判與文化研究持續受到重視；作者所屬機構則因台灣傳播學術機構的成長擴大。研究媒體中新媒體和網路研究數量大幅躍升。總結，本土學術力量的成長已經出現跨區域跨領域的研究發 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Research topics, as indicators of the profession’s development, are central to the evaluation of academic practices in communication research. To investigate the main topics in communication field, we trace the development of research topics since the 1987 to 2017 by evaluating 560 articles from Mass Communication Research journals found by the National Chengchi University. The relevant variables include author, institution, year of publication, number of page, language, and number of citation, research area, method, media studied, and region. Topic modeling reveals a concentrated area like mass communication and audience analysis during the first 30 years. However a broad variety and thus represent the field has been changed as a whole for the late 20years. Although our discipline is strongly interconnected with the changing media landscape, results show that communication research is characterized by high consistency. Although they have not provoked a revolutionary change, Internet and new media technology have become the most monitored media, parallel to—not displacing—classic media such as newspapers and TV. | |
