摘要 本文以後殖民理論和國家中心論觀點,爬梳新加坡脫離殖民而後獨立建國的情境下,建立運用政府政策與媒體行銷的手段,國家機器將這些思維以公民教育的方式傳輸到新加坡人的心中,使公民接受國家的理念,並深化新加坡的國家認同。
本研究以文獻分析法、深度訪談法,蒐集新加坡公民教育相關文章和公民教育的教科書和課綱做素材分析,亦訪問九位受過新加坡中學階段的公民教育受訪者,分析並釐清公民教育在學校和社會的現況。
國家公民教育的傳輸,新加坡政府在媒體上論述自己的國家為平等、多元、小而強盛;學校內的公民教學論述,則是和諧、多元、實踐,分析新加坡校園現場公民教育的實施狀況,以對照過往國家認同的論述,細數年輕的「新加坡國」,如何形塑「新加坡人」的過程。
新加坡公民教育為了整合多元種族,利用政策、媒體,致力營造社會和諧的形象,並搭配在節日時的演說,致力宣傳新加坡的繁榮與強盛。在校園內的公民教育教學活動與教材中,對於國家認同的形塑,利用四個紀念日的教學活動,做為學生感知和認同新加坡的國家建構歷程,另輔以公民實踐活動,以啟蒙(Enlighting)、學習(Enabling)、參與(Engagement)的3E方式,深化學生貢獻並實行的新加坡認同。
From the perspective of post-colonial theory and State-centered Theory, this thesis sorts out the Singapore independence from colonial and then, under the situation of the founding of the established by means of government policies and media marketing, the state apparatus to transmit these thinking, in the form of citizenship education to Singapore people`s heart, make the citizen to accept the concept of state, and deepen the Singapore national identity.
In this thesis, literature analysis and in-depth interviews were used to collect articles and textbooks on civic education in Singapore, as well as interviews with nine respondents who had received citizenship education in Singapore`s secondary schools, so as to analyze and clarify the current situation of citizenship education in schools and society.
The transmission of national citizenship education, the Singapore government in the media to say that the country is equal, pluralistic, small and powerful. The discourse on citizenship education teaching in schools is harmonious, pluralistic and value in action. It analyzes the implementation of on-campus citizenship education in Singapore, in contrast to the discourse on national identity in the past, and details the process of how the young "Singapore" has shaped their "Singaporeans".
In order to integrate multi-ethnic groups, Singapore Citizenship education is committed to creating an image of social harmony through policies and media, and to promoting Singapore`s prosperity and strength through speeches at National Day. In the teaching activities and teaching materials of civic education in the campus, the teaching activities of the four commemorative days are used as the process of students` perception and identification of Singapore`s national construction, supplemented by civic practice activities in the 3E way of Enlighting, Enabling and Engagement. Deepen student contribution and practice of Singapore identity.

dc.description.abstract (摘要) 本文以後殖民理論和國家中心論觀點,爬梳新加坡脫離殖民而後獨立建國的情境下,建立運用政府政策與媒體行銷的手段,國家機器將這些思維以公民教育的方式傳輸到新加坡人的心中,使公民接受國家的理念,並深化新加坡的國家認同。
本研究以文獻分析法、深度訪談法,蒐集新加坡公民教育相關文章和公民教育的教科書和課綱做素材分析,亦訪問九位受過新加坡中學階段的公民教育受訪者,分析並釐清公民教育在學校和社會的現況。
國家公民教育的傳輸,新加坡政府在媒體上論述自己的國家為平等、多元、小而強盛;學校內的公民教學論述,則是和諧、多元、實踐,分析新加坡校園現場公民教育的實施狀況,以對照過往國家認同的論述,細數年輕的「新加坡國」,如何形塑「新加坡人」的過程。
新加坡公民教育為了整合多元種族,利用政策、媒體,致力營造社會和諧的形象,並搭配在節日時的演說,致力宣傳新加坡的繁榮與強盛。在校園內的公民教育教學活動與教材中,對於國家認同的形塑,利用四個紀念日的教學活動,做為學生感知和認同新加坡的國家建構歷程,另輔以公民實踐活動,以啟蒙(Enlighting)、學習(Enabling)、參與(Engagement)的3E方式,深化學生貢獻並實行的新加坡認同。

dc.description.abstract (摘要) From the perspective of post-colonial theory and State-centered Theory, this thesis sorts out the Singapore independence from colonial and then, under the situation of the founding of the established by means of government policies and media marketing, the state apparatus to transmit these thinking, in the form of citizenship education to Singapore people`s heart, make the citizen to accept the concept of state, and deepen the Singapore national identity.
In this thesis, literature analysis and in-depth interviews were used to collect articles and textbooks on civic education in Singapore, as well as interviews with nine respondents who had received citizenship education in Singapore`s secondary schools, so as to analyze and clarify the current situation of citizenship education in schools and society.
The transmission of national citizenship education, the Singapore government in the media to say that the country is equal, pluralistic, small and powerful. The discourse on citizenship education teaching in schools is harmonious, pluralistic and value in action. It analyzes the implementation of on-campus citizenship education in Singapore, in contrast to the discourse on national identity in the past, and details the process of how the young "Singapore" has shaped their "Singaporeans".
In order to integrate multi-ethnic groups, Singapore Citizenship education is committed to creating an image of social harmony through policies and media, and to promoting Singapore`s prosperity and strength through speeches at National Day. In the teaching activities and teaching materials of civic education in the campus, the teaching activities of the four commemorative days are used as the process of students` perception and identification of Singapore`s national construction, supplemented by civic practice activities in the 3E way of Enlighting, Enabling and Engagement. Deepen student contribution and practice of Singapore identity.
