| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 現有的8吋晶圓廠幾乎都是十幾年前，甚至二十年前興建的，在過去很長的時間裡，8吋晶圓廠被資本市場視為老舊、落後的產線，幾乎已不再關注8吋晶圓廠的企業。但受惠中美兩大強權科技戰及Covid-19疫情兩股勢力催化下，讓「宅經濟」發燒，意外帶動了PC、平板、伺服器、遊戲機…等需求大增，吸引各家客戶投產於8吋晶圓廠，推升 8吋晶圓廠的產能需求，市場看好8吋晶圓代工。本研究將針對目前純以8吋晶圓廠生產的世界先進為研究目標，探討世界先進在併購後的財務結構及永續經營指標。根據本論文的研究，就相關已公開的財務資訊與指標觀察，世界先進由DRAM轉型為專業晶圓代工廠後，採取併購為該企業主要成長策略，特別是其在2004年~2021年間，透過4 次併購擴大公司規模，也因此在晶圓產出、營收、營業毛利率及營業淨利率等獲利指標，皆逐年提高，並於2021年達到歷史新高，達成其併購擴能的目標，也符合該公司永續經營的願景。 | zh_TW |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Almost all of the existing 8-inch fabs were built more than a decade ago, or even twenty years ago. For a long time in the past, 8-inch fabs were regarded by the capital market as old, backward production lines, and almost no longer pay attention to 8-inch fab enterprises. However, catalyzed by the two major forces of U.S-China trade War and the Covid-19 epidemic, the "stay-at-home economy" has been all the rage. Unexpectedly led to PCs, tablets, servers, game consoles... and so on the demand increased. Attract customers to put into production in 8-inch fabs. It pushed up the capacity demand for 8-inch fabs and the market is optimistic about 8-inch wafer foundries.This study will focus on vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation, which is currently produced in an 8-inch fab, and explore VIS post-merger financial structure and sustainability indicators.Based on the research in this paper, observations are made of relevant publicly available financial information and indicators, After Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation transformation from DRAM to a professional wafer foundry, mergers and acquisitions were adopted as the main growth strategy of the company. In particular, from 2004 to 2021, it expanded the scale of the company through four M&A. And thus made profitable indicators such as wafer output, revenue, operating gross margin and operating net profit margin year by year, and reached a record high in 2021. Achieving its M&A expansion goal, which is also in line with the company`s vision of sustainable operation. | en_US |
