| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | ルース．ベネディクト『菊と刀』日本語版の出版以降、いわゆる「日本文化論」（または「日本人論」）はその多くが、「二項対立」を用いて展開されてきた。「西洋」対「日本」という比較地域を対象とするものから、「恥の文化」対「罪の文化」のような日本と西洋の思考行動様式を比較したもの、そして「タテマエ」と「ホンネ」というような日本人の思考行動様式にみられる「二面性」など、「二項対立」を用いて展開されてきた内容は多岐にわたる。これまで、「日本文化論」が抱えている問題点について指摘する論考は存在したものの、「二項対立」そのものがもつ問題点、およびその問題点が「日本文化論」の展開に与える影響については、指摘されることはほとんどなかった。本稿は「日本文化論」における「二項対立」の形をとる主要概念「タテマエ」と「ホンネ」を例に、その構図と構造から「二項対立」がもたらす問題点を明らかにしようと試みるものである。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 自從露絲．潘乃德的《菊花與劍》日文版出版以來，有關「日本文化理論」（亦稱「日本人論」）的大部分論述皆是運用「二元對立」模式展開。例如從「西方」與「日本」等大範圍的「二元對立」比較，乃至日本與西方思考及行為模式的「恥的文化」與「罪的文化」之比較，以及像表達日本人思考模式雙重性的「建前tatemae」與「本音hon-ne」之比較等，不管是什麼樣的層次，這些論述皆使用「二元對立」模式來進行。雖然有些學者曾指出過「日本文化理論」中所存在的一些問題，但幾乎都沒有明確指出「二元對立」結構中所存在的問題、以及這些問題對「日本文化理論」之發展上所帶來的影響。本論係在「日本文化理論」概念中，以具有代表性的「二元對立」概念—「建前」與「本音」為例，試圖分析其構成與結構關係性，探討「二元對立」結構在「日本文化理論」中所存在的問題及影響。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Since the publication of the Japanese version of Ruth Benedict`s ＂The Chrysanthemum and the Sword＂, most of the discourses on ＂Japanese culture theory (also known as Nihonjin ron)＂ have been developed by means of the ＂binary opposition＂ model. This model has been widely applied to discussions such as general comparison of ＂Western＂ and ＂Japan＂, comparison of Western and Japanese thinking and behavior patterns like ＂shame culture＂ and ＂guilt culture＂ and comparison of duality of Japanese thinking patterns like ＂Tatemae＂ and ＂Hon-ne＂. However, while the problems existing in ＂Japanese culture theory＂ have been indicated by scholars, it is rare to point out the problems in the structure of ＂binary opposition＂ itself and the influence that these problems have brought on the development of ＂Japanese culture theory＂. Therefore, this paper attempts to utilize ＂Tatemae＂ and ＂Hon-ne＂, which are representatives in concept of ＂binary opposition＂, to clarify correlation of its composition and structure and discuss the problems and influence of binary opposition structure in ＂Japanese culture theory＂. | |
