題名 中高齡男性假釋犯的就業經驗初探

摘要 根據法務部的統計資料，新入監受刑人年齡呈現中高齡的趨勢，而這群人獲假釋出獄後，首要面臨的是如何重返社會正常謀生的挑戰，然而在這個過程，中高齡假釋犯可能因為前科身分加上個人專業技能不足及中高齡的年紀，導致在求職與就業上產生限制。而當中高齡更生人於職涯中遇到挑戰時，正式資源在其中有哪些處遇方式及其任務，故本研究的目的為了解中高齡更生人在假釋後的就業過程中所面臨的挑戰與經驗，同時，探究現今正式資源(例如：政策保障、觀護人、民間單位等)對於中高齡更生人在假釋後求職的影響，最後，提出中高齡者在假釋後就業上因應的具體策略。
本研究以質性半結構式深度訪談法，透過立意取樣搭配滾雪球抽樣進行樣本蒐集，共訪談6位中高齡男性假釋犯和3位觀護人以及2位民間團體的社工，研究發現及建議如後：
一、家庭支持為更生人入監服刑期間及出獄後的影響重返社會的重要一環。
二、正式資源於中高齡更生人在社會復歸過程中所扮演的角色與功能。
三、現有的就業服務資源不符合社會潮流，培訓課程無法滿足就業市場的需求。
四、中高齡更生人的個人資本累積奠定其成功就業。
基於上述研究發現，提出以下建議：
一、強化入獄期間的家庭支持處遇以加強社會連帶。
二、技能訓練應整合相關從業成員以能完善就業資源。
三、打造適合中高齡更生人的職場環境及就業服務異常重要。
四、制定並檢視相關法規並連結大型連鎖企業以打造友善職場環境以促進更生人就業。
According to the statistics from the Ministry of Justice, newly incarcerated inmates tend to be middle and senior-aged. Furthermore, those inmates released on parole will face the challenges of returning to society and making a living. In this process, their job access may be confined to their previous convictions, lack of professional skills, or age. Moreover, when these middle and senior-aged face the challenge in their career, how will the formal resources work and tasks are completed is an important issue. Therefore, the purpose of this study aims to understand the challenges and experiences facing middle and senior-aged ex-offenders in the parole employment process. At the same time, investigating the impact of current formal resources (e.g., policy protection, stakeholders, and non-profit organizations) on middle and senior-aged ex-offenders in their job finding. Ultimately, I propose specific strategies to address the post-parole employment of the middle and senior-aged.
The study used a qualitative semi-structured in-depth interviewing method to collect samples through purposive and snowball sampling, as well as interviewed six middle and senior-aged male parolees, three probation officers, and two social workers from non-profit organizations.
The results of the study were:
1.Family support is an essential part of those ex-offenders during their imprisonment and after their release from prison.
2.Finding the role and the function of formal resources in order to help those middle and senior-aged well-rehabilitated ex-offenders return to the society.
3.Existing employment service resources are incompatible with social trends, and training programs cannot meet the needs of the job market.
4.For those middle and senior-aged, the accumulation of individual capital contributes to their success in employment.
Based on the above findings, some suggestions are recommended:
1.Strengthen their family support during incarceration to enhance social bonding.
2.Skills training should be integrated with relevant practitioners to improve employment resources.
3.Building a friendly and suitable workplace and providing some employment services for those middle and senior-aged ex-offenders is important.
4.In order to promote the employment of the parolees, how to formulate some relevant laws and regulations and try to cooperate with large chain enterprises to build a friendly workplace for them is crucial.

dc.description.abstract (摘要) 根據法務部的統計資料，新入監受刑人年齡呈現中高齡的趨勢，而這群人獲假釋出獄後，首要面臨的是如何重返社會正常謀生的挑戰，然而在這個過程，中高齡假釋犯可能因為前科身分加上個人專業技能不足及中高齡的年紀，導致在求職與就業上產生限制。而當中高齡更生人於職涯中遇到挑戰時，正式資源在其中有哪些處遇方式及其任務，故本研究的目的為了解中高齡更生人在假釋後的就業過程中所面臨的挑戰與經驗，同時，探究現今正式資源(例如：政策保障、觀護人、民間單位等)對於中高齡更生人在假釋後求職的影響，最後，提出中高齡者在假釋後就業上因應的具體策略。
本研究以質性半結構式深度訪談法，透過立意取樣搭配滾雪球抽樣進行樣本蒐集，共訪談6位中高齡男性假釋犯和3位觀護人以及2位民間團體的社工，研究發現及建議如後：
一、家庭支持為更生人入監服刑期間及出獄後的影響重返社會的重要一環。
二、正式資源於中高齡更生人在社會復歸過程中所扮演的角色與功能。
三、現有的就業服務資源不符合社會潮流，培訓課程無法滿足就業市場的需求。
四、中高齡更生人的個人資本累積奠定其成功就業。
基於上述研究發現，提出以下建議：
一、強化入獄期間的家庭支持處遇以加強社會連帶。
二、技能訓練應整合相關從業成員以能完善就業資源。
三、打造適合中高齡更生人的職場環境及就業服務異常重要。
四、制定並檢視相關法規並連結大型連鎖企業以打造友善職場環境以促進更生人就業。		zh_TW
dc.description.abstract (摘要) According to the statistics from the Ministry of Justice, newly incarcerated inmates tend to be middle and senior-aged. Furthermore, those inmates released on parole will face the challenges of returning to society and making a living. In this process, their job access may be confined to their previous convictions, lack of professional skills, or age. Moreover, when these middle and senior-aged face the challenge in their career, how will the formal resources work and tasks are completed is an important issue. Therefore, the purpose of this study aims to understand the challenges and experiences facing middle and senior-aged ex-offenders in the parole employment process. At the same time, investigating the impact of current formal resources (e.g., policy protection, stakeholders, and non-profit organizations) on middle and senior-aged ex-offenders in their job finding. Ultimately, I propose specific strategies to address the post-parole employment of the middle and senior-aged.
The study used a qualitative semi-structured in-depth interviewing method to collect samples through purposive and snowball sampling, as well as interviewed six middle and senior-aged male parolees, three probation officers, and two social workers from non-profit organizations.
The results of the study were:
1.Family support is an essential part of those ex-offenders during their imprisonment and after their release from prison.
2.Finding the role and the function of formal resources in order to help those middle and senior-aged well-rehabilitated ex-offenders return to the society.
3.Existing employment service resources are incompatible with social trends, and training programs cannot meet the needs of the job market.
4.For those middle and senior-aged, the accumulation of individual capital contributes to their success in employment.
Based on the above findings, some suggestions are recommended:
1.Strengthen their family support during incarceration to enhance social bonding.
2.Skills training should be integrated with relevant practitioners to improve employment resources.
3.Building a friendly and suitable workplace and providing some employment services for those middle and senior-aged ex-offenders is important.
4.In order to promote the employment of the parolees, how to formulate some relevant laws and regulations and try to cooperate with large chain enterprises to build a friendly workplace for them is crucial.		en_US
