| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 本研究念茲在茲的核心關懷是，人類的媒介使用如何影響其公民參與，計畫以 三年時間完成。 第一、二年擬分別使用網路問卷調查及網路日誌兩種方法，探究以下這組研究 問題： 人類在生活中是如何「使用」媒介的？ 當代多平台、多頻道的媒介環境中， 是 否有所謂前台媒介與後台媒介？ 前、後台媒介的不同組合為何？ 媒介的不同組 合如何形塑使用者的媒介使用經驗？ 如此複雜而交錯的閱聽人媒介使用經驗， 是否有所謂使用者經驗綜效的存在？ 人類是否真的因為慣於使用某類或某幾類 的媒介科技物而改變了他們在公、私領域的溝通行為及公共事務的參與？人類的 生活，會否因為媒介科技物的介入而混淆了過去公、私領域的界線？ 第二、三年擬分別使用歷史研究法、參與觀察和深度訪談法等多重研究方法， 選擇智慧型手機為研究對象，探索以下這組研究問題： 回歸到「媒介」本身，我們該如何重新看待人類和媒介科技物之間的關係？ 究 竟媒介科技物是人的延伸，還是人竟然成為媒介科技物的延伸？ 媒介科技物彼 此之間也會相互延伸嗎？ 當代媒介科技的特性是「可移動性」（mobility）與「及 時性」（immediacy），這兩種特性，對於當代閱聽人在日常生活中如何「使用」 媒體，產生什麼樣的影響？ 我們可以如何從形式、歷史性、文化嵌入、體會（form, historicity, cultural embedding and embodiment）等四端研究人類和媒介科技物之間 的關係，並進而探知人類在使用科技物時的整體經驗為何？使用新媒介是否可以 賦權？使用新媒介所需新素養是否可以激發更有創意的公民參與（civic participation）? | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | The core concern of this project is to explore how media use influence uses’ civic participation. The project intends to use three years to tackle the following research questions. Internet questionnares and internet users diary will be used in the first two years to gather research data for the following questions: How does human beings “use” media in a multimedia environment in everyday live? What are the combinations of their media use? Are there front-stage medium and back-stage medium? How does the different combinations of media use influence the synergy of user experience and change their ways of participating public affairs. And in the second and third years, mobile phone is selected as research object. The researcher will explore the form and historicity of the innovation of mobile phones through historical reviews, and will search after the cultural and sensual meaning of mobile phone use for users of different age groups. Theories of new literacies and social inclusion will also be used to analyze whether media use empowers uses’ civic participation. | en_US |
