| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 美國霸權趨向衰落的爭議非從近日始，但是近來爭議卻呈現許多新面向和內容。該爭議可能不會有結果，未來的發展也無法預知，不過這些爭議卻透露出美國可能發展走向，以及它對國際關係可能造成的深刻影響。本研究將藉由四個不同理論觀點作為探索基礎，然後在此基礎上建立分析架構，針對當前美國趨向衰弱議題進行深入而有系統分析，研究目的不是尋求問題的真偽，而是呈現問題所在和可能發展。 | - |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | The debate over the decline of American hegemony does not start from nowadays but this time has provided a number of new dimensions of thoughts and contents to the issue. It is possible that the debate might not produce any end result and the future can not be foreseen; however, the points as brought up by the debate are helpful to perceive the changes of American power and the possible huge impact upon international relations. On the basis of four different theoretical perspectives, the research will first establish an analytical framework for the purpose of discussing the issue. Then, a systematic examination and analysis will be conducted to explore various dimensions of the decline of American power. The purpose of the research is not to find the truth or answer to the issue but rather to identify the nature of the controversy and the possible paths of American hegemony. | - |
