| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 本研究係執行國科會「台灣地區的政治民主化:行為層面的探討」專題研究規劃案(NSC 81-0301-H004-02)中最後的綜合分析。本研究就1991至1996年政治大學選舉研究中心所執行的選舉行為與台灣地區的民主化各相同的因素,作長期的貫穿分析,以探索這五年來台灣地區在劇烈變動的政治社會中,民眾在政治價值、選舉行為各方面的變化以解釋我國的政治民主化的進展。 本研究有幾項特殊的意義:1.了解在不同類的公職人員選舉中,選民投票行為的差異性及變遷;2.了解五年來選民民主價值觀念的持續與變遷;3.了解五年來選民政治知識與政治關心程度的變化情形;4.了解五年來選民政黨認同的變遷,以探知各政黨勢力的消長,及政黨政治的發展;5.了解五年來族群意識及省籍因素在選舉中的影響程度。 本研究主要是根據五年來大規模實證研究的資料作一縱貫性的整理與分析,期望從歷次研究中所提的研究變數探討它們與投票行為間的關係,以有效解釋台灣地區的政治民主化。 | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Electoral Behavior and Political Democratization in Taiwan: A Synthetic Analysis Based on the Elections from 1991 to 1996. The purpose of the project is to explore the following problems: (1) to understand the differences and change in voters` electoral behavior in different elections; (2) to understand the continuities and changes of voters` democratic value orientations in this five years period; (3) to understand the change of voters` party identification and the development of party politics on Taiwan; (4) to understand the effects of ethnic identity and ethnic background on the voting behavior. This study is a longitudinal analysis based on nationwide empirical survey data from the past five years. This research design would allow us to model voters` attitude changes and help us to understand some aspects of political democratization in Taiwan. | en_US |
