摘要 The majority of Taiwan residents now have Taiwan-centered national identities, viewing the island as separate and independent from the Chinese mainland. Thus, few people on the island support Beijing’s “one country, two systems” proposal. China’s new leaders need to present fresh plans if they are truly committed to peaceful unification.
