| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 本次提案旨在以三年為期撰寫《敘事傳播：故事與人文觀點》理論專書，擬 分四部分共十章詳述核心概念「敘事傳播」之理念與相關元素。 此一提案源自社會科學領域起自上世紀一九八零年代「向敘事轉」之典範轉 移思辨，而傳播（尤其大眾傳播）領域近十年來亦已逐步採納且漸能接受以「說 故事」為其主要內涵。 本次提案因而有意從敘事典範入手檢視（大眾）傳播理論相關研究議題，進 而倡議以不同「後設理論」面向重新觀察社會與個人如何受到傳播內容影響，接 續探究紀實（如新聞報導）與虛構（如廣告、戲劇）傳播內容之敘事者、敘事對 象、故事文本、論述等基本元素如何透過不同載體（modes）互動且相互影響， 協助釐清其在大眾社會日常生活扮演之功能進而啟迪美好人生；此即敘事傳播觀 點所具之人文特色。 總之，本次提案之主要動機乃在提供有關「（大眾）傳播為何」的另種思考， 旨在透過敘事學／理論／研究之後設思維討論「敘事傳播」可能包含之內涵，可 視為在此二十一世紀初期針對傳播核心概念提出之深層反思。 | |
| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | The purpose of this study is to propose a three-year book-writing project tentatively entitled “Narrative communication: Perspectives of story of humanity.” Following the author’s long interests in combining the two academic areas of narratology and communication the book will include four parts and 10 chapters with an aim to delineate the elements to be included in the concept of “narrative communication.” It is also proposed to study communication from a meta-theoretical base in order to examine how the society and people may have been influenced by storytelling, how the elements of narrative communication, i.e., narrators, narrates, stories and discourse, may interact each other, and how a good life may be approached after the understanding of communication is further achieved. After all, the motive of initiating this proposal is to provide an alternative perspective of knowing “what [mass] communication is.” We believe this approach is important because in the first stage of the 21st Century many of the core ideas of communication have already been challenged after numerous new technological tools have been introduced and therefore different ways of communicating were brought. | |
