| dc.description.abstract (摘要) | In the current theory of Lexical Functional Grammar (LFG), the Lexical Mapping Theory (LMT) distinguishes itself with its non-transformational prediction of the surface structures of sentences. This thesis demonstrates that with a revised Lexical Mapping Theory, we are able to gain a new insight on the syntactic account of Mandarin dative construction and locative inversion. | en_US |
