摘要 
In this era of globalization, international trading plays an important role of economic development for every country. Without transportation industry’s support, this cannot be done. There are two main players in this market, one is shipping company and airline, the other is freight forwarders. Even though this is a traditional industry which has been existing for a long time, technology innovation has brought light into the end of the tunnel. For example, carriers introduce weekly containerize service after world war II which allowed shipper to move goods in large scale and low cost. Whereas in order to cope with high logistics demand coming out of e-commerce development, forwarders now are able to provide in-depth cargo tracking service, warehouse service, and total supply-chain solution. To better understand this phenomenon, writer prepare a case study on an existing successful freight forwarder with more than 30 years of proven history.
The aim of this case study is to learn why forwarder company can achieve today’s success, and how they can overcome difficulties, survive through severe competition. In the same time, through study overall shipping industry, customer’s behavior, growth of developing country and business model. I hope to find new opportunity for this company.
