題名 The role of question type and knowledge in anchoring effect

摘要 The anchoring effects of different types of question (self-generated-anchoring question and concept-activation question) and different levels of knowledge are examined when an anchor is provided by the experimenter. It is found that the anchoring effect was greater at concept-activation questions than at self-generated-anchoring questions.
