摘要 及至目前為止並未有研究了解臺灣跨媒體新聞閱讀的普遍性,也未有研究探究新聞閱聽眾從多個
     媒體觀看新聞時的綜效歷程。因此,本研究分別透過調查法與實驗法進行。第一個研究透過調查法,
     研究目的包括:(一)了解臺灣跨媒體新聞消費行為;(二)發展跨媒體新聞綜效模型。第二個研究透過
     實驗法,目的包括:(一)確認模型變項間的因果關係;(二)了解新聞綜效與新聞知識是否呈現正向關
     係。本研究發現(一)年輕閱聽眾每日透過網路與電視觀看新聞已漸成趨勢;(二)年輕閱聽眾尚未認為
     跨媒體新聞閱讀已成習慣;(三)跨媒體新聞綜效模型是消息來源擴大理論的擴大與修改;(四)本研究
     所提出之跨媒體新聞綜效模型是適切的,且獨立新聞綜效所產生的傳播效果較優於相依新聞綜效,但
     兩者在新聞知識上的差異並不顯著(包括新聞記憶量與新聞記憶密度)。
There have been no studies concerning the prevalence of the cross-medium news consumption behavior
     in Taiwan, neither to say the synergy model of such behavior. This study thus aims to investigate this kind of
     behavior and develop a synergy model that explains the underlying mechanism behind it. Both survey and
     experiment methods were undertaken. As a whole, this study found that more and more younger people
     consume news from the Web and television daily, but they have not yet agreed that such behaviors are
     habitual. The news synergy model is a revision and an extension of the source magnification theory.
     Independent news synergy yielded significantly better communication effects than dependent news synergy
     did, except news knowledge.
